A Visual Support Tool for Decision-Making over Federated Building Information

Abstract Interconnecting building information on multiple scales and lifecycle stages enables designers to improve their decision-making tackle ecological, societal, economical challenges. However, this is often generated in different software tools, saved file formats, using a stakeholder’s own domain language, stored decentral storage locations. This paper presents tool that integrates data from stakeholders into single viewpoint. The – LBDviz combines browser-based IFC viewer semantic web technologies combine geometry with other falls outside the scope of schema. tested case studies.
